The 18th week in the abbreviated NBA season is over. There are only three weeks left. That means this is the time teams want to get healthy and begin, or continue, to get their rotations in order. Week 18 saw two teams go undefeated, the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks. Four teams were cursed with the 0-fer, Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets. The Lakers are one of those teams, despite the rough week, that are getting healthy. They have welcomed back Anthony Davis and expect LeBron James soon.
The Utah Jazz continue to hold down the top spot, but their hold appears to be loosening. The next few weeks promise to be interesting! Watch the video here:
Week 18 – Biggest Movers
Five different teams moved up a single spot this week. So, like we did last week, we will call up the one that moved up highest in the ranking. That would be the Dallas Mavericks. Thanks to a perfect week and combined with a winless week by the team above them, the Lakers, the Mavericks were able to leap over the LAL to take the 5th spot.
Week 18 – Biggest Droppers
Week 18, as we mentioned earlier, saw more than a few teams go winless. The lack of wins hurt the Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers more than the others however. Interestingly, the Kings did win a game in Week 18, but they had a Bad Loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves that cost them. The Blazers, not be out done, had two Bad Losses which resulted in their drop in the standings,
