They will need a big game from Jimmy Butler, who has been the Heat’s best player in the series. Butler is averaging 29.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in the series [He is averaging 26.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6 assists].

The Celtics will be looking to close out the series and advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 [Nope]. They will need Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to continue their strong play. The Celtics are the slight favorites to win tonight’s game [Big favorites actually]. They have been the better team in the series so far [Not so much], and they have the home-court advantage. However, the Heat are a dangerous team, and they will not go down without a fight.

Here are some key matchups to watch in tonight’s game:

  • Jayson Tatum vs. Jimmy Butler: This is the matchup of the series. Tatum and Butler have been the two best players in the series, and they will be the key players for their respective teams tonight.
  • Jaylen Brown vs. Bam Adebayo: Brown and Adebayo have been going back and forth in the series. Brown has been scoring the points, while Adebayo has been doing a good job of defending him.
  • Marcus Smart vs. Kyle Lowry: Smart and Lowry are two of the best defensive guards in the NBA. They will be matched up against each other tonight, and they will be key to their respective teams’ success.

The Celtics are the favorites to win tonight’s game, but the Heat are a dangerous team. The Heat will need a big game from Butler and their role players if they want to force a Game 6. The Celtics will need to continue their strong play if they want to close out the series and advance to the NBA Finals.

Biggest story is that Gabe Vincent, who has been averaging 17.5 points on 50% 3P%, is out! The Heat are up 3-1 but they are hurt and will need others to show up to earn the upset victory.
