Bam, Bam, Bam-Bam Adebayo on the head of the Pacers. Saturday night’s first game between the Heat and Pacers goes to the Heat. Bam Adebayo came alive in the second half of the game. He scored 25 points and 30 points overall. The Pacers couldn’t keep pace with the Heat tonight. Adebayo chipped in 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Tyler Herro finished with 20 points on 6/16 shooting, five assists and four turnovers.
Heat bounce back from Detroit loss
Look at this article here from the Indy Star describing the game. The Pacers are off to a rough start this season. But, the Heat have historically played bad in Conseco Fieldhouse, I mean, Market Square Arena, no, Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Heat were up by six at the half. The team has played terribly in third quarters but tonight was different. Kevin Love scored 15 points in the third quarter to help the team go up by 13.

Adebayo’s fourth quarter began with an offensive rebound and a seventh assist to “The Dunc” Duncan Robinson. He had 14 points heading into the quarter. He made a jumper, drew a foul and sunk two, then a fadeaway jumper. He was at 20. At 114-96, he hit a three point shot. Off his eleventh rebound, he took the ball up court himself and sunk a three pointer.
The Pacers made hella substitutions before play started again. They closed to 117-101 and Adebayo got a steal off a bad pass. He took the ball up court again and dunked the ball. Finally, he closed his scoring night with a floater. Adebayo took over the fourth quarter and made sure the Heat won.
Indiana off to a rough start

The Pacers are off to a rough start to the season like the Heat. This article here from the Indy Star talks about the injuries to Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith. Those players are the best perimeter defenders on the team. They still though, had Tyrese Halliburton, TJ McConnell, Obi Toppin and Myles Turner on the court.
Obi Toppin finished with 21 points and Halliburton had eight assists. Pascal Siakam had 14 points on 14 field goal attempts and Myles Turner finished with nine. Jarace Walker of the Pacers committed seven of the Pacers 20 turnovers. Of the 20 turnovers, the Heat defense had 16 steals. They had 19 fast break points to Indiana’s 11. Check out my article here on our site on the Heat’s new gameplan approach — Tonight it worked. Game 2 will be Sunday at 5:00pm in Conseco/Gainbridge/Market Square.
