The Heat scored 153 points in what felt like a “Festivus.” The Heat vented their grievances on the listless Pelicans for all the events this season. The team scored 35 in the first, 36 and 39 in the second and third and 43 in the fourth. Nine players scored in double figures for the Heaters. They had 36 assists in the game, scored 70 points in the paint and outrebounded the Pelicans by 18.

Heat vs. Wizards last game of the season
Can the Heat continue their “Festivus” into Monday against the Wizards? Heat beat writer Ira Winderman tweeted that possibly Adebayo and Herro wouldn’t play Monday. Then, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and others could vent and play. The usual players to watch out for for the Wizards are: Jordan Poole, Bilal Coulibaly and Tristan Vukcevic.
The Wizards haven’t come close to beating the Heat this season. As a fan, Kel’el Ware should get a double-double, Jaime Jaquez Jr. should have a nice game (among other positives) and the Heat should win by 20. In their last home game of the season, the Wizards committed 17 turnovers and shot poorly from three-point range.
Heat vs. Bulls in play-in first round

Since the Heat lost to the Bulls on Wednesday, they must travel to Chicago for the play-in game. The Heat have difficulty matching up against the Bulls. Many fans want the Heat to play the odds in the NBA lottery instead of getting swept in the first round. The Heat marketing team tried to hype up the Bulls game with the quote, “We know what’s at stake.” It came off as tone-deaf.
For the Heat to win both road play-in games, they must play elite defense. They must out-rebound their opponents in every game. Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins must average 75 points as a trio during the two games. Davion Mitchell must average seven assists. Finally, Kel’el Ware must average 10-15 points per game.
