Bertans, who sprained his ankle against the Atlanta Hawks on November 1st, is still going through treatment for the injury. Bryant is working his way back from an ACL injury he suffered back in January of this year.
New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans are really struggling at the moment. The team has a record of 3-16, and is currently on a two game losing streak. Over their previous 10 games, New Orleans has a record of 2-8. The Pelicans are lead by Brandon Ingram, who is currently averaging 21.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. In their most recent game, the Pelicans lost the Minnesota Timberwolves by the score of 110-96.

I agree with Dimers on this. Although the Wizards lost their previous game, that loss hasn’t really done anything to affect the team’s confidence moving forward. The Pelicans on the other hand, are really struggling right now. The more losses that pile up, the more a team’s confidence gets affected negatively. Washington should win this game, but I don’t think it will be a close one. In their previous matchup, Washington had to comeback from a 19 point deficit in order to win. I anticipate Washington doing everything they can to prevent that from happening again.
