The Miami Heat lost a highly contested game to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, by a final of 125-118, despite a brilliant performance from Jimmy Butler.

Heat Lost. Jimmy Butler is averaging just under 20 points this season and certainly did everything he could in the loss. Butler scored 30 points on 52.6% shooting and was 10 for 10 at the free-throw line. He also had 10 assists and 10 rebounds, to account for his second triple double of the season. Adebayo had an impressive night as well, shooting 80% from the field while scoring 27 points with 12 rebounds. He also had 7 assists, a steal and 2 blocks. Coming off the bench but playing the most minutes, G Tyler Herro matched Adebayo’s 27 points on 55% shooting.

The Heat put up a great effort against the Clippers, although LA was without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Patrick Beverly. But they still had Marcus Morris Sr, who had 26 points on 9-of-11 shooting before intermission, including six threes. Morris finished with 32 points.
