Miami loses to Golden State

Jimmy Butler was at it again on Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors. Butler had his second game in a row with a triple double, racking up 13 points on 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Despite the effort, the Warriors outlasted Miami with a score of 120-112 in overtime. The Heat lead for most of the game until the later half of the 4th quarter.

In addition to Butler’s triple double, Bam Adebayo led the Heat in scoring with 24 points. Tyler Herro even had 15 rebounds and 3 blocks off the bench, potentially his best defensive game in his young career.

“I just feel like we get complacent with our lead,” Adebayo said after Wednesday’s loss. “We can’t expect they’re just going to give us the game. We’ve got to play 48 minutes.”

For Golden State, Kent Bazemore led all scorers with 26 points. Steph Curry only had 25 points, but came up clutch in the final minutes, including overtime.
